A Great Chef’s Knife Is Your Slicing-and-Dicing Deal of the Day

We here at Dealzmodo see “bargains” or “deals” for knife sets all the time (think “25 knives for $25—but that’s not all folks!”) but we never post them because they’re not really bargains: you don’t need all those knives, and if they’re that cheap they’re probably crap. What you do need is a great chef’s knife, and Amazon’s got the 10-inch Victorinox Fibrox on sale for only $24 today. Michael Zhao, over on The Wirecutter, called it “a great chef’s knife,” and Lifehacker’s Adam Pash noted that “it performs like a $100+ knife for much less.” And today, it’s an even better bargain than when those guys reviewed it: $24 is a straight-up steal for such a great Swiss-made piece of German steel. If you’ve already got a Wustof or another awesome knife, check out after the jump for deals on console video games (including pre-orders and new releases!), Alienware gaming desktops, and a $10 Netflix streamer.
